From the RockHill Archives: Spring Color Inspiration & the Beach

The beach has always been my happy place—the sound of the surf, warm sand between my toes, and that unmistakable ocean air.

Looking back at Pantone’s Spring 2016 color collection, I can still see why so many of these shades caught my attention. The blues, greens, soft pinks, and coral tones feel fresh, natural, and very much at home in the colors I’m drawn to when designing jewelry.

And then there’s Buttercup. Even now, I’m still not sure I can imagine designing with—or wearing—that much yellow!

Color inspiration can come from almost anywhere, but the coast has always been one of my favorites.
